Zaanse Schans

A beautiful open-air museum just an hour outside of Amsterdam. It was like walking onto the set of The Lord of The Rings for an afternoon. :-)

An Old Wooden Roof

This was shot inside the Olde Kerk (Old Church) in Amsterdam. The Dutch seem really relaxed about having photographers with tripods roaming about their places of worship, which is cool, cuz trying to hide a tripod under your jacket gets pretty old. Anyway, this place boasts the oldest wooden vaulted church in Western Europe. And I am sure it is the only church in Western Europe where you exit right into the Red Light District, which might mess up the fact that you went to church at all!!
